The STEM Cell Family is a Christian faith based organization and there is a faith based aspect to all we do. We correlate STEAM concepts to life application. For example, by looking at potential versus kinetic energy we can know that we have gifts and abilities but it takes action to put those gifts and abilities to use. We do not force the Bible or our faith upon anyone, but we do strive to demonstrate Christ's love for everyone as we build and grow together, in faith and in fun!

Q) There are lots of STEM groups in the area. What makes the STEM Cell Family unique?
A) Unlike many drop and go STEM groups and events for children, the STEM Cell Family is for kids and their parents and role models. We want to create communities where families can build, bond, and grow together in faith and fun.
Q) Where are you located?
A) The STEM Cell Family is designed to be mobile in nature, meaning that we have no central place for people to come and go. This could change in the future as the fun and faith grows throughout the area so that we could potentially offer a physical location in addition to the mobile setups.
Q) The phrase “in faith and fun” sounds suspicious. What faith? Am I going to get preached to because my kid wants to play?
A) The STEM Cell Family is designed to combine STEM concepts with Biblical principles and opportunities for life application. We do not shy away from faith in God and the love of Jesus but we also do not shove the Bible in people’s faces.
Q) Does this have anything to do with biological stem cells or reproductive choices?
A) No. STEM Cell and the STEM Cell family are based upon educational STEM concepts of science, technology, engineering, (art in STEAM Room), and Math. While biological stem cell research also has roots in STEM, the STEM Cell family does not place an emphasis on that.
